About Capital Challenge Horse Show
The Capital Challenge Horse Show is a premier hunter and jumper competition that marks a significant milestone in the fall show calendar. For many riders, it’s the most important show in the indoor season. It brings together months of preparation and steady progress in one focused setting.
The show attracts a diverse range of participants, including pony riders, juniors, adult amateurs, and professionals, all competing within a thoughtfully structured program that strikes a balance between tradition and competitive depth.
Capital Challenge is built around a series of championship classes. These finals place equitation and hunter competition at the center of the week, drawing riders who have qualified through consistent performance earlier in the season.

-
THIS National Children’s Medal Finals: Reserved for qualified young riders, the National Children’s Medal Finals focus on position and composure over carefully constructed tracks.
-
Marshall and Sterling East Coast Medal Finals: A long-standing fixture on the equitation calendar, the East Coast Medal Finals bring together riders from across the region for a focused test of skill and consistency.
-
NAL Hunter and Jumper Finals: Closing out the North American League season, these finals reward riders who have earned their place through point accumulation in hunter and jumper divisions.
